The Rest of the Story from NYC

As promised, here are some more photos from my brief stay in the Big Apple. Starting with Central Park.

This is, of course, only a wee small corner of the more than 250 acres of green in the middle of Manhattan known as Central Park.

Even in the latter days of Winter, when the trees are still bare and the grass is a dormant shade of brown, it is a beautiful place for a stroll.

There are even some brave, blanketed souls who opt for a ride in one of the famous carriages.

The architectural detail that is evident in the park's structures is also a treat for the eye. It seems that everywhere one looks in New York something interesting pops out in the most unusual place. Stay tuned for one of those interesting sights in my next blog!

  1. good morning Eileen~!~

i have heard that Central Park is a real treat to visit and your photos certainly confirm that. i agree that the architectural details are lovely and seeing the city in the background is just surreal~!!~ i hope that i'll be able to go someday and see it all for myself but in the meantime, i appreciate you for sharing your experience.

thank you for the St. Paddy's Day wish. i have been a bit overwhelmed with a variety of things and unable to chat back and forth as much as i would like but your wishes were received and appreciated.

lovely to visit your sweet blog~!~
